Working in the High Risk Industry requires a certain level of attention to detail, safety, competencies and experience. However, working with licenced workers does not mean that you will avoid all incidents or accidents. It is important to enssure all the equipment is safe and not damaged by workers and time.

The Safety Act requires employers to provide a safe work place for their employees, which includes providing safe Plant and Equipment. It is also important to be sure that your personnel are qualified for the job. A licence does not mean being experienced. Sometimes people use the wrong techniques with equipment and/or damaged equipment that can be dangerous. That is why you need to have inspections carried out at regular intervals, to ensure compliance with legislation, Codes-of-Practice and current Australian Standards.
